Brian G. Daly
President
As President of Highland Risk Services, Brian Daly brings 25 years experience in the industry, working both in the United States and the U.K. After spending most of his career with large insurance corporations, Brian set out to build a wholesale brokerage company centered around fulfilling the needs of his customers. His knowledge and industry perspective serves Highland Risk well—giving him the edge to attract and retain customers, all while setting the standard that keeps Highland Risk customer-focused at all times.
Prior to starting Highland Risk Services in 2007, Brian spent 12 years with Allianz in Los Angeles and Chicago (spending the last 5 years at Allianz as Chief Underwriting Officer), and spent over a year on the retail agency side. Brian also spent 8 years gaining underwriting experience while working in the UK. Brian has Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Surplus Lines licenses and an Associate in Risk Management license. He earned a Fellowship degree from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK).
Away from the office, Brian is an avid hockey fan, and he enjoys watching his son play hockey. His family shares his love for the Blackhawks, and they began an ongoing project to see the Hawks play in every NHL stadium over the next several years. He also enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family, and reading history and non-fiction books.
